## Feature catalog

### Artwork records
Every artwork supports title, artist name (when account type is collector), year, medium, category, dimensions (cm), status (available, sold, on hold, not for sale, destroyed), inventory code, price and currency, provenance, exhibition history, notes, and tags. Custom inventory code templates support tokens: {PREFIX}, {YYYY}, {YY}, {###}.

### Images
Up to 10 images per artwork. Images are stored on Cloudinary with automatic optimization (c_limit,w_1600,q_auto,f_auto). Drag-to-reorder. In-browser crop and 90° rotate. Compressed email-friendly variants for PDFs. ZIP export of all images for any collection or full library.

### Collections
Group artworks into named collections for exhibitions, series, or any organizing principle.

### Viewing rooms
Password-protected shareable pages with layout options (stacked, grid, masonry). Per-room field visibility toggles, multi-image lightbox, expiry dates, artist name and room name header toggles. Owners can preview inactive or expired rooms.

### PDF catalogs
Server-generated PDFs (@react-pdf/renderer, EB Garamond typography). Configurable field visibility, layout options (single, 2-up, 4-up), optional page numbers, cover page, artist branding. Asynchronous background generation that survives SPA navigation. Saved PDFs live in a private Supabase Storage bucket. Share links with nanoid tokens (noindex) for public download without login.

### Certificates of authenticity (COA)
Professional A4 certificates with EB Garamond, optional artist signature image, artwork image, full provenance and identification. Multiple field toggles grouped in the export dialog.

### Labels
Printable labels with QR codes linking to the public portfolio version of the artwork. Size presets and field visibility toggles.

### Contacts CRM
Track collectors, galleries, and institutions. Link contacts to sales and consignments. Batch operations.

### Sales and invoices
Record sales with contact link, date, amount, commission rate, and notes. Generate professional invoice PDFs with auto-numbered series. Sales update artwork status via database trigger.

### Consignments
Track consignment status per artwork, link to gallery contact, record terms and return dates.

### Edition tracking
For printmakers and photographers: edition size, individual edition copies, proofs, and status per copy.

### Public portfolio
Personal portfolio at a chosen subdomain with logo upload, dark mode, headshot, About drawer with bio, optional bio toggle, and configurable artwork ordering.

### Import / export
